Students give 2,400 hours at Community Service Day
Every grade, every classroom, one morning: our annual day of service took students from the creek to the food bank.
By Marcus Webb, Service Learning Coordinator

On Friday, more than 480 students, teachers, and parents fanned out across Maple Falls for our annual Community Service Day.
Upper School students cleared two miles of trail along Alder Creek, Middle Schoolers sorted 3,000 pounds of food at the county food bank, and our youngest students made cards for neighbors at Orchard Grove Senior Living.
Service is part of a Larkspur education in every grade. Thank you to our community partners for welcoming us.
